Love is patient. Love is kind. But loving you is everchanging and growing. Loving you is sunlight and rainfall. We’ve been through hell and back together. You’ve shown me your worst. I’ve shown you my best. You’ve shown me your joy. I’ve shown you my pain.

Love is patient. Love is kind. But loving you is breathing my motherland’s air, pure and serene. Loving you is evergreen, forever blooming. I’ve shown you my ambitions. You’ve shown me your patience. I’ve shown you my traumas. You’ve shown me your remedy.

Love is patient. Love is kind. But loving you is not easy. Loving you is my greatest journey. We were each other’s nightmares. You’ve shown me your mistrust. I’ve shown you my doubts. You’ve shown me your bruises. I’ve shown you my damage.

Love is patient. Love is kind. But loving you is life. Because mine wouldn’t be the same without you. I’ve shown you my plans. You’ve shown me the map. I’ve shown you my struggles. You’ve shown me your strength to carry us through.

Love is patient. Love is kind. But loving you is beautiful. Loving you is the sun shining and warming my soul. Loving you is the moon rising and protecting my heart. Five years of laughter, tears, glee, and grief seem like a lifetime, yet in a blink of an eye. Five years of growing and thriving together is not enough. I want the fairytale, the everlasting, the indestructible. Because loving you is a dream come true.
